Russians have to get used to lots of things in America. For example, I got used to filing my annual tax return. I even got used to the fact that I can call IRS and they will help me fill in the form. I got used to the fact that they give advices on tax refunds that I am entitled to. They will even correct my mistakes if it means I pay less tax. They will return a portion of my tax if I overpaid during the year.

But wait; now the government gives me six hundred bucks in the middle of the year! And this is supposed to help nation’s economy! Huh? This is something new for me, I’ve been trying to get used to it for one month, but still can’t. God bless America!

Русским в Америке ко многому приходится привыкать. Допустим я уже привык что каждый американец каждый год должен заполнить налоговую декларацию. Я даже привык что в налоговую можно позвонить по телефону и они помогут тебе ее заполнить. Я привык что они сами подскажут какими налоговыми льготами я могу воспользоваться. И даже исправят ошибки в мою пользу если найдут. И возвратят налоги если я переплатил в течение года.Но что вот так вот с бухты-барахты мне налоговая выдаст чек на шестьсот долларов? И это должно помочь экономике страны?! К этому мне еще нужно привыкнуть.
